I am completely thrilled to receive recognition from The National Photographic Society for two of my photos.

The Gold award for the stag was taken in Richmond Park, Surrey during the autumn rutting season very early in the morning. It has just started raining and there was a chill in the air. You could see his breath in the air and feel the tension. An amazing experience & I will definitely be going again next year.

Then I’m as equally happy to receive a Highly Commended for the photo of friend Laura Tucker-Dawson in the poppies. She was very brave not only getting up at a ridiculous time in the morning but it was also very chilly. The photo was taken near Hertford last summer. The thrill of watching the sunrise over a poppy field is amazing & should be on your bucket list.
