Why Have a Business Branding Shoot?
A branding photoshoot is a strategic photoshoot where we shoot a series of professional photos that showcase you, your business, and your personality. The final photos you receive from a branding session will be headshots that are thoughtful, planned, and strategic. They will show your personality.
The session will focus on you and your business. It is my job as a business branding photographer to create a set of images that give a strong visual representation of the business that you are so passionate about. Your branding is your personality, the core and ethos about your business. Thinking about style, location and posing we will create together brand images that you can use across all the socials and your website for marketing.
You’ve made the step to invest in quality photography with a professional – great news now we need to prepare.
You need to be clear in your head the purpose of the shoot and prepare a rough shot list
Pick your outfits. Smart, casual, mixture of both, what colours suit you? what image do you want to project?, what do you wear for your job or when seeing clients? bring a selection, we can choose together and try various options with different backgrounds.
What location would you like? my studio? would you like to visit in advance? your work place? a hotel, rental office space or cafe?
Bring relevant props (for example a laptop, coffee mug, your business cards or branded stationary, plants, objects relevant to your business)
Plan a hair & makeup session (wash hair the day before if you are doing it for yourself) book appointments that fit with your photography session. I’m happy if your make-up artist wants to come to the studio or I can recommend suppliers.

Try be rested the day before
The most important thing is that you are comfortable and that you feel totally yourself – you need to convey your personality through these images to your clients.
