Beauty in the Bluebells

It’s been wonderful in last week to do photoshoots in St Albans bluebell woods. The flowers were a little slower to bloom this year due the frequent frosts and cold snaps. However they finally emerged as beautiful as ever! I absolutely love this time of year. The children really enjoy playing in the woods and many seeing bluebells for the first time. It’s a real joy to share the short window of natural woodland colour with them. It’s even more exciting when the children and in their lovely matching clothes and bring their smiles. They were all so cute. I even managed to grab a few shoots of my parents in the woods this year. They have a special affinity with the bluebells as I reminds them of their childhood and playing in the woods. If you would still like a bluebell or blossom shoot there is only a week left until they are past their best for another year.
