Farnsfield honey has undergone a rebrand in the last month and I have enjoyed being a part of it by taking photos of all the new honey products in my studio. As well as runny, set & creamy they also sell the popular honeycomb in honey and and walnuts in honey by the jar. The added bonus for me was I got the eat the cake & walnut ‘props’ afterwards!

The new logo and labels so suit the brand and my happy folks!

My lovely Dad is a beekeeper and his beautiful honey is created in Farnsfield village in north Nottinghamshire by his hard working bees.

I grew up in the village and it’s so pretty. Surrounded by rural land and public footpaths his hives are in four different locations nearby their house. These include a local farm, allotments and the church graveyard, as well as his own garden of course.

David’s hobby has rapidly grown into a full time job and he currently has an amazing 25 hives. For many years now he has held talks at local schools, groups and nurseries. There is so much to learn and it’s really fascinating.
